Christmas fireplace with stockings coloring page

A brick fireplace with a log fire burning, a mantelpiece draped in holly and baubles, two stockings hanging from it, a small decorated tree on one side, presents on the floor and a plate of cookies left out. It is the longest page in this collection because every brick is an area of its own, so plan an evening or share it out between two. Stockings by the fire owe a lot to the 1823 poem A Visit from St. Nicholas, which opens on stockings hung by the chimney with care. The kids leaving milk and cookies for Santa is the same evening seen from the table.

How to color Christmas fireplace with stockings

1. Brick red for the bricks, with the mortar lines left pale.
2. Yellow at the heart of the flames, orange around it and red at the tips.
3. Green for the holly garland, and a different colour for each stocking and present.
