Smiling Santa Claus standing coloring page

Santa stands facing you from his hat to his boots, cheeks round, moustache curled, beard spread over his chest, a wide belt with a square buckle across his middle and mittens at his sides. The shapes are big and clear, so this is the Santa to give a child who wants all of him and not just the face. Much of the way he looks goes back to the cartoonist Thomas Nast, who drew him round, bearded and jolly in Harper's Weekly from 1863 onwards. The smiling Santa face is the close-up of the same character.

How to color Smiling Santa Claus standing

1. Red for the suit and the hat, with the fur trim, the pompom and the beard left white.
2. Black for the belt and the boots, and gold for the buckle.
3. Pink for the cheeks and the nose, and green for the mittens.
