A mummy stands wrapped from head to toe in bandages that overlap in every direction, one eye peeking through a gap and loose strips trailing from the arms. Dozens of separate strips means the page only works if you vary the shade slightly from one strip to the next: all the same cream and it turns into a blob. Egyptian mummies were wrapped in linen, which is closer to pale beige than to white. The little Frankenstein waving hello is the other wrapped-up character in this batch.
How to color Halloween mummy in trailing bandages
- Pale beige for the bandages, with every third or fourth strip a shade darker.
- dark grey Leave the gaps between the strips dark so the wrapping reads.
- One eye in white and green, and a night background behind.
