Little angel blowing a trumpet in flight coloring page

A little angel with curly hair flies across the page in a long robe, wings spread and halo floating above, blowing a trumpet held up in both hands. There are only a handful of big areas, which makes it an easy page, and gold on the trumpet and the halo is what makes it look finished. Angels with trumpets come from the Bible, where the trumpet is how heaven announces news, and they have topped Christmas trees and decorated Christmas cards since the nineteenth century. The shining Christmas star is the other page here where gold does most of the work.

How to color Little angel blowing a trumpet in flight

1. Gold or yellow for the halo and the trumpet.
2. Pale blue or white for the robe, with soft pink on the cheeks.
3. Leave the wings white and shade the tips of the feathers in light grey.
