Santa in the chimney, holding the edge before he slides down.
Santa squeezing down a brick chimney with his sack
Santa is halfway into a brick chimney, both hands gripping the top, his sack bulging behind him and a big smile under the moustache. The chimney is a wall of large bricks, perfect for practising one color at a time: brick red, with a lighter or darker shade on every other brick. In the 1823 poem, down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound, and children have been checking the fireplace on Christmas morning ever since. Santa filling the stockings is what he does once he is down.
How to color Santa squeezing down a brick chimney with his sack
- Brick red for the bricks, a shade lighter on every other one.
- Leave the lines between the bricks white or very light grey.
- Red and white for Santa, and brown for the sack.
