Santa's sleigh and reindeer flying past a full moon

Two leaping reindeer pull Santa's sleigh across a huge full moon, Santa waving from his seat among the presents, with banks of cloud below and a few stars around. The whole page is about the night sky, so color the sky dark and the moon pale and the reindeer will stand out as if seen against the light. Since 1955 American air defence, today NORAD, has followed Santa's route every Christmas Eve, a tradition that began with a misprinted phone number in a newspaper advert. Santa and Rudolph shows the reindeer resting before the trip.

How to color Santa's sleigh and reindeer flying past a full moon

1. Pale yellow for the moon, dark blue for the sky around it.
2. Warm brown for the reindeer, with a lighter belly.
3. Red for the sleigh, gold for the runners and bright presents inside.
